Experience the beauty of the Red Planet
Mars, often called the “Red Planet,” is the fourth planet from the Sun and is known for its distinctive reddish appearance caused by iron oxide (rust) on its surface. It is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere primarily composed of carbon dioxide, and its landscape features vast deserts, towering volcanoes like Olympus Mons—the tallest volcano in the solar system—and deep canyons including Valles Marineris. Mars has two small moons, Phobos and Deimos, and is a prime candidate in the search for past or present life due to evidence of ancient riverbeds, polar ice caps, and the presence of water in frozen or vapor form. The planet experiences seasons like Earth’s but with much colder temperatures, and it has been the focus of numerous robotic missions aiming to explore its surface and potential habitability for future human exploration
